Description

The Mainboard is the core of the NOREYA Nexus platform providing six extension slots for modules.

  • 6 expansion slots each with SDBP and USB support.
  • 1 power supply expansion slot.
  • 2 microSD card slots with 64 GB storage and RAID-1 support.
    • Failsafe against microSD card wear and tear.
  • USB hub with per-port power control and overcurrent detection.
  • Supports automatic detection by the USB descriptor.
  • Integrated real-time clock (RTC) with CRC2032 battery.
  • Serial console via USB port (C).
    • Supports USB mass storage mode “boot and reset after timeout” for easy data access.
  • Buzzer for simple audio signals
  • IEC/EN 60715 – 35 (35mm DIN rail) mounting options
  • Operating temperature (ambient air) range 0°C – 50°C.
  • Storage temperature range -20°C – 60°C
  • Baseboard Management Controller (BMC)
    • Watchdog function
    • Supports low level configuration of USB hub
    • On-board voltage measurement
    • 2 temperature sensors (free ambient / SoC ambient temperature)
    • tactical hardware switch for factory reset and booting in USB mass-storage mode boot
    • 3 hidden switches (requires screw driver for switching)
      • BMC write protection on/off
      • BMC bootloader enable on/off
      • RTC battery connected/disconnected

Important notes

  • Device is configured via serial console (USB jack C) (no keyboard/mouse support).
  • Display output is only supported for debugging (no official support for graphical applications!)
